MORRISDALE — For the second time in one week, the Curwensville Golden Tide baseball squad experienced a game being postponed. The heavy rain from Thursday evening that continued overnight made field conditions at the West Branch Junior/Senior High School too saturated to play on.
The game between the West Branch Warriors and the Tide is slated to be made up on Monday, May 9, with the same 4:30 p.m. start.
Curwensville (0-3) will now begin their four-game stretch of road games on Monday when they make the short trip up Rt. 879 to face Clearfield. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m. The Tide will then travel to Kane on Thursday for a 4:15 p.m. start, Glendale on Friday and finally complete their road trip against Harmony on Monday, April 18. Glendale and Harmony are both scheduled for 4:30 p.m. first-pitch start.
