Don’t be surprised if London commuters are looking for Stormtroopers after seeing the trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
Disney released a teaser trailer for the “Star Wars” spin-off on Thursday and some eagle-eyed fans quickly recognized a Tube station on the Jubilee Line.
The scene shows star Felicity Jones running through the station with stormtroopers in hot pursuit (jump to about 1:05 to see the action).
There’s only a glimpse of the corridor, so it’s hard to tell if it’s really on the Death Star, but it’s a reasonable assumption. “Rogue One” takes place before the events of the original 1977 “Star Wars” and follows the rebel mission to steal plans for the Death Star.
We’ll find out for sure in December, when “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” arrives in theaters.
