Perry A. Fetcenko, 53, of West Decatur died peacefully surrounded by his loving wife, mother and children Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born Sept. 23, 1962, a son of Frances (Leone) Fetcenko with whom he lived and the late John Fetcenko.

Mr. Fetcenko was a master mechanic and had first been employed by Ken Long Motors and then Fred Diehl Motors.

He enjoyed life and was always the comedian. In his spare time, he would fish, garden and tinker with anything he could take apart.

He cherished the time he spent camping with his son and riding the four-wheeler to the creek. He loved his dog, Precious, but more than anything, he deeply loved his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Stone) Fetcenko, to whom he was married June 26, 1982 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg.

He is survived by two children, Andrew Fetcenko and his wife, Brianna of West Decatur and Amanda Kelly and her husband, Shane of Osceola Mills; three grandchildren, Riley Fetcenko, Ryen Fetcenko and Colton Kelly; and an aunt who helped raise him, Mildred Fetcenko of West Decatur.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Fetcenko Sr. and Marion Fetcenko.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 400 S. Fourth St., Philipsburg.
