Richmond shooting: 3 injured, suspect in custody

Two Virginia State Police troopers and one female civilian were transported to a hospital for treatment after an active shooter situation at a Greyhound bus station in Richmond, Virginia, according to Corinne Geller with the Virginia State Police.

The shooting suspect is in custody, she said.

Images showed law enforcement on the scene. Police cars blocked streets and yellow tape cordoned off the area.

A spokeswoman for Greyhound had confirmed earlier that there was an ongoing incident. The station is closed.

“We will re-route customers as possible and we will reissue tickets once we resume service if you are supposed to travel to or from Richmond today,” the company said.

No other details were immediately available.
