CLEARFIELD – Denise Long, principal of St. Francis School, Clearfield, recently accepted a check from Kenn Starr of Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery.
As a Catholic school, St. Francis is dedicated to the development of strong Christian principles within its students. It seeks to instill within each student high moral values and a positive attitude towards him/herself, other students, adults and education in general.
Members of the St. Francis School PTO and school staff are grateful to Starr Hill Winery for the donation. “The donation adds extra funds to provide for student field trips and activities that are not in the budget,” said Long.
