State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred March 6 on Myers Road in Morris Township. During the incident, a known Morrisdale woman allegedly removed 48 oxycodone pills from the victim’s residence. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred sometime between March 4 and Tuesday on Lingle Street in Osceola Mills Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry to the victim’s residence by removing boards from the basement door. Once inside they allegedly spray-painted “slum lord” on the bathroom wall that was located on the first floor before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of indecent assault/corruption of minors that occurred Feb. 27 at Nittany Minit Mart in Philipsburg Borough. Upon arrival state police found an elderly Philipsburg man had allegedly committed the crimes on a juvenile victim. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a trespassing incident along South Second Street. Upon arrival police found that the male was in need of mental health treatment. Police made contact with an agency to assist him.
- Police are investigating a report about an alleged incident of forgery from a resident along West Front Street.
- Police were called to Finch Street for a report about a female who was threatening self-harm. Police spoke to the female who agreed to an evaluation.
- Police handled an alleged altercation between a male and female outside of the hospital.
- Police responded to East Eighth Street for a parking complaint. However, the vehicle left prior to police arrival at the scene.
- Police responded to a business along South Second Street for a theft. Further, a known female entered the store, allegedly removed an item and attempted to leave.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to an alarm at a business on Route 879. It was found to be accidental.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation in the area of the Route 879 Bypass.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment in the Hill Street area.
- Police received a report about an alleged IRS phone scam. Further, police would like to remind residents not to provide personal information.
- Police received a report about alleged child abuse, which remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a lost, mislaid or stolen DCNR all-terrain vehicle plate. It was recovered along Route 153 and the owner can claim it at the police station.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Woodland Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault that occurred at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
- Police assisted with a psychological emergency on Leonard Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged burglary/criminal trespass incident on Mill Road.
Curwensville Borough
- Police responded to an alleged domestic disturbance Saturday at the Curwensville Commons. Upon arrival police determined it was an argument and warned those involved of their actions.
- Police identified the operator of a vehicle who allegedly caused damage at Irvin Park. During the incident, they allegedly drove their vehicle off of the roadway and onto grass areas. They allegedly drove in a careless manner and spun the vehicle in the grass, which caused damage. They will be cited for the violation and responsible for the damage. Police noted the operator was also wanted on a warrant and turned over to the Lawrence Township police.
- Police received a report about a vehicle, which was parked in the Water Street area, being damaged on a door by a known person on Sunday.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance Sunday at a Maxwell Street residence. Upon arrival police determined it was an argument.
