Have you reached your limit with the solitude and inactivity of the past winter? Are you ready to start getting out and getting in shape for the summer?

Here’s your opportunity to socialize and begin your exercise regimen while having fun and saving money.  Area residents age 50 and older are invited to join the Bowling Boomers.

The Clearfield Center for Active Living, a program of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc. and the Clearfield Bowling Lanes, are teaming up to offer Bowling Boomers a substantial savings on bowling every Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The one-time registration is all that is needed for individuals to be able to bowl two games at the discounted price of $1.75 per game and no charge for the bowling shoe rental.  The Clearfield Bowling Lanes are located at 224 W. Second Ave., in Clearfield.

People can stop in to the Clearfield Center for Active Living to register for Bowling Boomers.   The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Information on this and other programs, meals and activities is available by calling the Clearfield Center at 814-765-9319 or 1-800-225-8571 or by visiting the CCAAA Web site at www.ccaaa.net.

Programs and services of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc. are funded in part by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, the Clearfield Area Agency on Aging, Mature Resources Foundation and local and client contributions.
