Want to get more right swipes on Tinder? Consider a career change.
People who list certain professions on the dating site tend to get more matches, according to a new report from the company. Tinder gave users the ability to include details about their work and education in their profiles three months ago, in response to a lot of user requests.
The company reports that adding any job to a user profile increases the chances of a right-swipe.
“This extra layer of information provides deeper insight into our users,” said Rosette Pambakian, vice president of communications and branding.
But some jobs in particular tend to get a more positive reaction from other users. Tinder looked at the profiles that got the most right-swipes between November 2015 and January 2016 to compile a list of the 15 most popular occupations for each gender.
Five professions made both lists: founder/entrepreneur, college student, teacher, model and personal trainer.
