Dolly Webb Soltys, 88, of The Golden Living Center, Hillview in Altoona and formerly of Sanborn, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 at the Golden Living Center, Hillview in Altoona.
Born July 15, 1927 in Clay County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Marson and Mattie (Asher) Webb. She married John J. Soltys, Sr. on Nov. 1, 1952; he preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2006.
Mrs. Soltys was a member of the Brisbin Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Soltys Jr. and David Soltys.
She is survived by four daughters, Louise Leigey and her husband, Daniel of Shelocta, Rebecca Supko and her husband, Michael of Osceola Mills, Jennifer Villella and her husband, Anthony of Coalport and Lisa Muth of Pottsville and a son, Roy Soltys of Osceola Mills.
She is also survived by two sisters, Irene Milwee and Shirley Southerland, both of Watts Creek, Ky., and 13 grandchildren, Brian and Alan Soltys, Cory, Zachery and Matthew Leigey, Jeremiah and Melissa Soltys, Todd, Michael, Jason, Eric and Brandon Supko, Anthony and Nicole Villella, Katherine and Jimmy and Samantha Muth. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Osceola Mills, with pastor Mark Melhorn officiating. Burial will be at the Sanborn Cemetery, RD Houtzdale.
Friends will be received at 3 p.m. Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral home.
