Mona L. Young, 72, of Woodland died Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Oct. 4, 1943 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Harry and Della (Graham) Woodling.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed raising her family.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Young, to whom she was wed Feb. 16, 1963.
She is survived by six children, Tom Young and his wife, Linda of Clearfield, Lisa Luzier and her husband, Ray and Chris Young and his fiancée, Wendy McGonigal, both of Woodland, Karen Shaw and her husband, Roy of West Decatur, Kari Lynch of Harrisburg and Debra Smeal of Blandburg.
She is survived by 11 grandchildren, Shannon and Amber Young, Brittany and Ryan Renaud, Alishia Luzier and her fiancé, Tyler Martell, Jessica Shaw, Rebecca Shaw and her fiancé, Austin Scott, Bethany Smeal, Matthew Young and his wife, Alyssa, Chris Young Jr. and Zach McGonigal.
She is also two brothers, Clifford ‘Lee’ Woodling and his wife, Esther of Woodland and Albert ‘Duane’ Woodling and his wife, Frances of Woodland and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death a granddaughter, KayLee Ann Smeal; a great-granddaughter, Jasmine Martell; an infant brother, Alvin Woodling; and a son-in-law, Paul Lynch.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Pastor Scott Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
