Michele R. Fike, 47, of Punxsutawney died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at her home.
Born Sept. 26, 1968, she was the daughter of Ronald Fike of Glenn Campbell and Marlene J. (Henry) Fike of Punxsutawney.
She was the coordinator for the Weatherization Program for Community Action in Punxsutawney for several years. Prior to that, she worked for Clepper Bus service in DuBois.
She was a 1986 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic and a graduate of the DuBois Business College. She also graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania School of Commercial Driving where she obtained her CDL.
She was a volunteer for Make a Wish. She was a loving person who was always willing to reach out and help people.
She is survived by a brother, Calvin W. Fike of Brady Township.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mae and Russell Fike; her maternal grandparents, Violet and Carl Henry; and step-paternal grandmother, Annabelle Turner Fike.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Fr. Rick Tomasone officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
