CLEARFIELD – Students in the Precision Machine program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC), along with others across the nation, are celebrating CTE month during the month of February.
The CCCTC, along with the National Technical Honor Society at CCCTC, have partnered up to showcase programs to illustrate the rigor and relevance CTE courses offer students.
By partnering with the business community, the programs are investing in students and providing them with the latest technology and skills that will prepare them to become successful employees and future leaders.
The Precision Machine program had the privilege of Ben Detwiler, the Centre County CPI Instructor for Precision Machine, give a presentation to the class. He spoke about the automotive machining processes and how their program works with that part of the industry.
He also spoke about the different opportunities available to Precision Machine graduates.
