UPDATE: Speed Limits Restored on I-99, Route 322, and Sections of I-80, in North Central Region

CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 2 has updated the lifting of speed limit restrictions in the region. District 2 serves Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Juniata, McKean, Mifflin, and Potter counties.

As of 11:30 a.m., speeds returned to normal on Interstate 99 in Centre County. Speed restrictions for Route 322 from the State College area through Mifflin and Juniata counties, and on I-80 in Clinton County and Centre County from Clinton County to the Bellefonte/161 interchange were lifted earlier today.

The 45 miles per hour speed reduction remains in place on I-80 from the Bellefonte/161 interchange in Centre County to the DuBois/97 interchange in Clearfield County,

PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
