Police Investigating Retail Thefts, Seeking Public’s Assistance

CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Police Department is investigating alleged retail thefts that occurred Nov. 28-29, 2015 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield.

According to police, the incidents allegedly occurred around 8:04 p.m. Nov. 28 and 8:24 p.m. Nov. 29 in 2015. Two actors, a male and female, were involved in the alleged retail thefts.

The male was wearing jeans, a grey Adidas hoodie and a camouflage (possibly under armor) beanie. The female was wearing jeans, a green jacket and black hat in one video and a red jacket in another video; she was carrying a tan or gold purse, police said.

The actors arrived at Wal-Mart in a red/maroon-colored sports utility vehicle. They entered the store and allegedly stole jewelry and other merchandise, police said.
