REYNOLDSVILLE – Jeff Tech wishes to announce its February student of the month junior, Avery Nelson.
Nelson is enrolled in the drafting, designing and engineering Career and Technical Education program at Jeff Tech. He lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jamie (Paula) Carlson.
He is a member of the National Technical Honor Society at Jeff Tech and a member of CTSO, which is Jeff Tech’s Career and Technical Education Organization.
He is also on the dance committee. He is competing at states in April in technical drafting after winning first place at the District 7 competition.
Outside of school, Nelson works at Morelli’s Family Restaurant in Brockway. Upon graduation, he hopes to further his education at a college or university.
