Donna Jean Stiner, 67, a resident of Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, and formerly of Frenchville, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at the center.
Born July 29, 1948 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Calvin and Gloria (Hunt) Martell. Mrs. Stiner was a homemaker and had attended the River Road Church of Christ in Clearfield.
On July 24, 1981, she wed Donald James Stiner Sr., who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Rowles.
Surviving are her parents of Surveyor and five children, Lisa Patterson and her husband, Curt of Glen Richey, John Stiner and his wife, Sue of Clearfield, Vickie Carr of Frenchville, Laurie Eberhart of Port Matilda and Scott Rowles of Houtzdale.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers and a sister, David Martell Sr. and Sharon Picard, both of Surveyor, and Duane Martell and his wife, Mary Jane of Philipsburg.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stiner will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with the Rev. Raymond Stiner officiating. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
