Leonard W. Teats, 66, of Winburne died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at his residence. Born May 17, 1949 in Pottersdale, he was the son of the late Ai B. Jr. and Viola Schmoke Teats.
Mr. Teats was a member of the Winburne Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the LOOM Lodge No. 941, Grassflat.
He was married to Mary E. McGonigal Teats on March 17, 1974 in Philipsburg. She survives in Winburne.
He is survived by four daughters, Brenda J. McGonigal and her fiancé, Donnie Eckenrode of Patton, Darleen K. Clark and her husband, James of Pottersdale and Denise M. Simcox and her husband, James and Monica D. Graham and her husband, David M., both of Winburne, and three sons, Ricky A. McGonigal and his wife, Susan of Morrisdale and James R. McGonigal and his wife, Keilla and Leonard Jr., both of Winburne.
Mr. Teats is also survived by three sisters, Patricia Brown and her husband, David of Philipsburg, Mildred Bouleyard of Fredericksburg, Va., and Sherry Amon and her husband, Brad of Enola.
He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Diane Teats of Fort Hood, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Teats was preceded in death by three sisters, Charyal, Ester and Debbie and a brother, Gary Teats.
There will not be any public visitation. A public memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at the Winburne Presbyterian Church with Lay Minister Martha Bloom officiating.
