State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred Feb. 6 on Paxson Street in Gulich Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s garage and removed miscellaneous scrap metal and 15 feet of copper wire. The estimated value of the stolen scrap metal and copper wire is $125, state police said. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an accident Wednesday on Knobs Road in Goshen Township. Further, a vehicle driven by Ambrosia Walter of Frenchville was traveling north while another driven by Thomas Williams was traveling south. Walter lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a left-hand curve and struck the driver’s side rear tire of Williams’ vehicle. Upon impact the Walter vehicle spun 90 degrees clockwise and came to a final rest on the west berm. Williams’ vehicle also came to a rest on the west berm.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Feb. 7 in the parking lot of the Owens Illinois Plant 19 in Snyder Township. During the incident, a known female allegedly engaged in an argument with the victim that turned physical. She allegedly punched the victim and his vehicle, which caused damage to its trunk area. She also took the victim’s cell phone and left the scene. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of burglary that occurred sometime Feb. 6-7 at a South Continental Drive residence in Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence and removed several items, including a Stihl chainsaw; a Craftsman battery charger; clothing; household goods; and a metal lock box containing numerous personal items. - State police received a report about an accident Monday on DuBois-Rockton Road in Union Township. Further, Ryan W. London of DuBois lost control of his vehicle while traveling west. It subsequently spun into the path of a vehicle driven by Michelle C. Bender of Clearfield, which struck its right side. The London vehicle traveled a short distance before coming to a rest against the guiderail. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, state police said.
