State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a lost dog Monday in the Pine Air Court area of Boggs Township. Further, a female brought a Chocolate lab to the Woodland barracks after she found it running loose. The dog was wearing a red collar, state police said. Anyone with information about the dog should contact the Clearfield County SPCA at 814-765-2220.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police investigated an alleged incident of cruelty to animals that occurred Jan. 31 on South Front Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, the victim located her deceased cat at her residence. Upon investigation state police determined it was allegedly killed by the victim’s daughter. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred Feb. 3 on Kantz Hill Road in Cherry Tree. During the incident, a Glen Campbell woman allegedly subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact. She was cited for the incident through the district court, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of DUI that occurred Sunday at the intersection of Clarion Street and Route 321 in Jones Township. Further, a Wilcox man was stopped for a traffic violation and determined to be under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the Elk Penn Highlands Hospital for a blood draw, and charges are currently pending at this time.
Lawrence Township
- Police conducted a public service at the Clearfield Area Elementary School.
- Police received a report about suspicious individuals on Joseph Road.
- Police received a report about a child who was allegedly being unruly.
- Police were dispatched to a report about a residential alarm. While responding to the scene, police were cancelled by the security system monitoring company. Police made contact with the homeowner to make sure that everything was OK.
