Nurturing Program for Parents of Teens to be Offered by Children’s Aid Society

Are you having trouble guiding your child through the teen years? The Nurturing Program for Parents of Teens, offered through Children’s Aid Society in Clearfield County will begin a new series of classes in mid-March.
Free classes will be held from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Mondays at Moshannon Valley High School, 4934 Green Acre Rd., Houtzdale; and Wednesdays at Children’s Aid Society, 1008 S. Second St., Clearfield. The seven-week series runs from March 14 to April 27.

The program focuses on topics such as teen brain development, healthy relationships, communication, and compromise. The sessions include free child care for children under 10, free dinner, and $10 Sheetz cards.

The Nurturing Program for Parents of Teens is funded by a grant from Pennsylvania’s Children’s Trust Fund.
