Kathleen Moon is tired of saying “I’m a Republican, but …” so she’s hit the road in New Hampshire to find out which candidate will best match her self-proclaimed “passionate centrist” views.
Moon, who is from Montana, travels around the early primary states to get a better glimpse at the candidates in smaller venues.
After seeing many of the candidates in person at their campaign events, Moon, who spoke with CNN’s Michael Smerconish Saturday morning, called Donald Trump “boring,” Carly Fiorina and Hillary Clinton “warm” and said she would have Ted Cruz over for dinner because of an “impish glimpse in his eye” despite disagreeing with many of his views.
Moon said she began the trip without a preferred candidate in mind and is still undecided on who she will vote for on June 7, when Montana holds its primary.
