Obituary Notice: Loren D. Bishop

Loren D. Bishop, 63, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born Dec. 26, 1952 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Robert and Rachel Bishop.

On April 19, 1975, he married Patricia M. “Pat” (Pacelli) Bishop.  She survives.

Recently, he retired from SKF Aerospace as an Eastern Regional sales manager.

He was a member of the Treasure Lake Sportsmen’s Club and a past board member of the Clearfield-Jefferson County Regional Airport Authority. He was also a past member of the Lions Club.

He started the “Us TOO” Prostate Cancer Support Group at Penn Highlands DuBois.

He is survived by three children, Ian Bishop and his wife, Gina and Sean Bishop and his wife, Shelley, both of Pittsburgh, and Stephanie Reinsel and her husband, Douglas of DuBois.

He is survived by eight grandchildren, Cooper, Parker, Vivian and Brody Bishop; Ryan and AJ Reinsel; and Grace and Eva Bishop.  He is also survived by a brother, R. Scott Bishop of South Carolina.

At his request, there will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held.

However, a celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the DuBois Country Club.  All are welcome to attend.
