Marie Laman, 95, DuBois died Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Oct. 15, 1920 in Chestnut Grove, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Olive (Hartzfeld) Smith.
On Sept. 30, 1943, she married Paul D. Laman. He preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 2004.
Mrs. Laman was a graduate of Brady Township High School and the DuBois Business College.
She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by three children, Dr. David Laman and his wife, Verna of Pittsburgh, Linda Ream and her husband, Peter of Sewickley and Kathleen Greene and her husband, Martin of Hollywood, Fla.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Laman was preceded in death by her brother, James C. Smith and her sister, Marjorie Lois LaCaille.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Burial is in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
