Trump sons tout their father’s resume

Two of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s closest counterparts — his eldest sons — touted their Dad’s top qualities Sunday night before Monday’s Iowa caucuses.

Trump has distinguished himself from the large pack of 2016 hopefuls by challenging the status quo, but Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump insist their businessman father has a lifetime of experience that would aid him in the White House.

“You don’t get to where he is in business, you don’t have a 35 year track record of success and build the kind of the companies that he’s built, you know, by doing it by yourself on impulse thought, right? You bring in the best person for a given job,” Donald Jr. told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.”

“He’s not going to accept mediocrity in those positions. He’s going to bring in someone who’s great who really does it. He’s going to listen to that person and work with that person to make the right decision of the country,” he said.
