Days after making headlines for a new romance, model Blac Chyna has been arrested for “causing a disturbance” on a Texas flight.
The incident occurred at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Friday evening. Police did not provide specifics on what kind of disturbance the 27-year-old caused.
Chyna, whose birth name is Angela Renee White, was intoxicated and removed from the plane, the Austin Police Department said in a statement.
“White was … arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance, 1 gram or more but less than 4 grams,” police said.
Her arrest comes amid the buzz over her reported romance with Rob Kardashian, the brother of reality star Kim Kardashian.
The relationship came to light this week, sparking controversy because Kardashian’s youngest sibling is dating White’s ex and father of her child.
