The coroner’s office would like to acknowledge the local and Pennsylvania State Police, the county’s ambulance and fire services, the county’s emergency management agency and the staff members at both local hospitals for their assistance in these matters.

Also, the coroner’s office would like to thank District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. and Pathologist Dr. Harry Kamerow for their support and assistance on several complex cases throughout the year.

Morris also noted that a project started in 2015 to convert the coroner’s records to a computerized digital record has been put on hold. He indicated it was due to budget and manpower constraints on the coroner’s office.
