CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has restored the speed limit on Interstate 80 in Clinton, Centre and Clearfield counties.
Due to the winter storm impacting the region, speed limits were reduced yesterday and today to 45 miles per hour on Interstate 80 and Route 322. All speeds are restored to their usual posted limits with the exception of Route 322 in Mifflin and Juniata counties.
With the speed limit restriction lifted, the 70 miles per hour speed limit across this section is again in place.
PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
