CLEARFIELD – You can help others put their best foot forward. The CCAAA Inc. Volunteer Program will kick off its 13th annual “Sock it Me” campaign on Jan. 20.
Over the past years, they have collected 1,000’s of pairs of new socks for men, women and children, which are distributed through the local sneaker closets, Salvation Army, men and women’s shelters and other organizations, as well as, needy individuals.
Any school group, work place, organization, or individual who would like to help can call the Volunteer Program at 814-765-2696 for posters, or you can pick up posters at the office at 116 S. Second St.
You can put up a collection box and start collecting. Organizers would like all socks dropped off at the office at 116 S. Second St., no later than March 23. If they cannot be dropped off and you need to arrange for pick-up, or you would like additional information, please call Alice Pollock at 814-765-2696.
