Timberland Federal Credit Union Opens in Philipsburg

PHILIPSBURG – Timberland Federal Credit Union, a member-owned, federally-insured, not-for-profit financial cooperative, is pleased to announce the opening of its Philipsburg branch located at 308 Walton St.

In honor of the new branch, TFCU will be offering a three-day, 3 percent loan and CD special. People can stop in or call any branch location to find out more details.

Locations are on Beaver Drive in DuBois, Clearfield-Curwensville Highway in Clearfield and now Walton Street in Philipsburg.

The credit union is powered by Chief Executive Officer and President Carrie Wood. Daily operations will be performed by Joel Slagan C.O.O., along with Alisha Cowder, branch supervisor/loan officer, Tyler Milliron, loan processor/M.S.R., Jenny Wallace, new accounts/M.S.R., and Shannon Snyder, M.S.R

Wood stated, “We have been looking forward to opening this branch and serving the people of Philipsburg and surrounding areas. I look forward to being a part of the community”
