CLEARFIELD – Students in the Culinary Arts & Food Management program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center are pictured with their “pressure test” results.

Dan Schleiden, CCCTC culinary instructor, gave the students one day to research, gather and create a dessert to be presented and judged.

The dessert has to be approved for difficulty level. The students learn different aspects in the culinary field such as working under pressure.

Students pictured, from left with their desserts, are Noah Bumbarger, Julie Clark, Anthony Tornatore, Kayla Irwin, Sahara Fleming, Riley Casher, Bethany Foster, Sierra Maney and Josh DeSantis (adult student).
