CURWENSVILLE – The Curwensville Regional Development Corp. recently donated $750 to the Curwensville Area School District for improvements to the Irvin Park environmental education tree ring timeline display.
Students from the Curwensville Area High School computer-aided drafting classes have designed the display, and students in the forest technology education classes will construct the tree ring timeline display using a cross section of a red oak tree harvested at Irvin Park.
The seventh-grade science classes and the local history social studies classes will design information correlating local history with environmental education information on the display.
