CLEARFIELD – Youth acting classes will be held at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. (CAST) on Saturday mornings in January and February.
Under the direction of Gayle Gearhart, CAST artistic director, these classes will focus on creative play and stage presence in younger classes and advance to acting techniques with the older classes. Each class will have a final presentation for family.
Classes are going to be held Saturday mornings. Classes will begin Jan. 9 and will end Feb. 27. Grades 1-3 will meet from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Grades 4-7 will meet from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Grades 8-12 will meet from 11 a.m. -12 p.m.
A registration fee of $35 is requested for each participant. Families who have more than one participant will receive a discount of $30 per participant.
Registration can be done by visiting the CAST Web site, www.ClearfieldArts.org. Registrations will also be accepted in person on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 4-5, from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at CAST. Pre-registration is recommended, but not required.
