Obituary Notice: Michael H. Kritzer

Michael Harry Kritzer, 52, of Olanta died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 in Olanta while hunting with friends.

Born Jan. 19, 1963 in the Clearfield Hospital, he was the son of Richard and Mary Ann (Chesnoka) Kritzer.

Mr. Kritzer was employed by the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Woodland for the past 23 years. Prior to that, he had been employed by the former Kent’s Sportswear for 12 years.

He was a member of the Olanta Lutheran Church in Olanta. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

On April 8, 1989, he wed the former Debra J. Snyder, who survives, along with his mother of Boardman, Olanta RD; a son, Michael T. “Mikey” Kritzer of Warrington, Va.; and a brother, Richard “Dickey” Kritzer and his wife, Amanda of Grampian.

He was preceded in death by his father, an infant sister, Sarah and grandparents, Mike and Grace Chesnoka and Harry and Chloe Kritzer.

Funeral Services for Michael Kritzer will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with Mr. Gary B. Jewart officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
