Lucille Mae Amitrone Fischer, 91 of DuBois and formerly of Erie, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Dec. 1, 1924 in Brockway, she was the daughter John and Irene Petruzzi Amitrone.
On May 15, 1948, she married Frank E. Fischer. He preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2007.
She was a homemaker and had worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. in Erie.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Fischer of Norristown and three sisters, Marilyn Torak, Yola Nolan Kohner and her husband, Ted and Lena Cox and her husband, William.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Mark A. and Larry A. Fischer, four brothers, James, John, Angelo and Joseph Amitrone and a sister, Wanda Lankard.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel at Christ the King Manor.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel at Christ the King Manor with Msgr. Desmond McGee as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
