There is speculation that Justin Bieber is dating Kourtney Kardashian, and the confluence of all that celebrity may be more than the world can handle.
It started recently when the 21-year-old singer and the 36-year-old reality star were spotted at the same venue.
Kardashian famously split this summer from the father of her three children, Scott Disick. Bieber stirred the pot by appearing to mock Disick in an Instagram post.
Bieber is shown getting cozy against a car with a woman whose face can’t be seen. The caption reads “Lord knows,” which some fans took as a diss of Disick, who goes by “The Lord.”
Very quickly, some sites jumped on the photo, saying the women in the picture is definitely not Kardashian.
But that hasn’t stopped chatter that the pair are “casually” seeing each other, and it has spurred pieces such as an Elle article headlined “Justin Bieber is the Perfect Rebound Guy for Kourtney Kardashian.”
“Justin Bieber is a paragon rebound dude,” Leah Chernikoff wrote. “He’s too young to take seriously, but just the right age to completely worship at the altar of an older woman (and learn from her).”
Not everyone is happy about the rumors.
Of course, there’s more to this story: Bieber’s on-again-off-again ex Selena Gomez is reportedly dating One Direction’s Niall Horan. Though Gomez recently told “Entertainment Tonight” that the rumors are not true, the pair were spotted leaving the “X Factor” afterparty together Sunday night.
