DUBOIS – Eddie Tate, owner of Luigi’s Ristorante and Catering in downtown DuBois, stands ready with the ceremonial scissors, as he cuts the big ribbon to announce the grand opening of his latest venture, Luigi’s Villa located at 800 W. Weber Ave.

The villa is an event center that has been frequented by locals under various names, including the Litts Club and most recently Lifetime Celebrations. Tate purchased this property with plans to expand on the catering and event services that have been run through his downtown restaurant location.

The Greater DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce organized the evening to welcome the community to take in the newly renovated event hall. Chamber staff members Jodi August (executive director), Nancy Micks (president emeritus), Susan Loskoski (administrative assistant) and Kacee Kirkwood (member services) greeted guests along with volunteers Donna Bailey and Marilyn Vetro.

Several area wineries including Winery at Wilcox, Laurel Mountain Winery, Wapiti Ridge Wine Cellars and Star Hill Winery were also on hand for guests to sample a taste of Pennsylvania wines.

The space itself is prepped for weddings, graduations and other life and community events. To book your event, contact Luigi’s Villa manager, Casey Murray, at luigisvilladubois@gmail.com or 814-299-7915. More information is also available at facebook.com/luigisvilladubois.
