Elsie May “Tootie” Snedden, 79, of DuBois died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at her home.
Born June 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Lydia (Foltz) Schalk.
In February of 1955, she married John L. “Jack” Snedden, Sr. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2014.
She worked with the handicapped children as a teacher’s aide for many years.
She was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, where she was active in church affairs.
She is survived by a son, Lonnie F. “Lon” Snedden of Clearfield; a grandson, Dennis Wolfgang of DuBois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her children, Bonnie J. Wolfgang and John L. Snedden, Jr.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Mount Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Kelly Schanely officiating.
