Dale A. DeLarme, 87, of DuBois died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born Nov. 10, 1928, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary E. (Phelps) DeLarme.
He married his devoted wife of 64 years, Crementine (Marinable) DeLarme, on Oct. 13, 1951 at the St. Francis Church in Clearfield. She survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War.
He owned and operated Shadyside Farm in Brady Township. He was also employed by Quaker State Oil and self-employed with Dale’s Pump and Hoist.
He was a Baptist by faith. He enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his animals. He loved his family dearly and cherished his late night “parties” with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, James A. DeLarme and his wife, Kathy of Sykesville, Daniel B. DeLarme and his wife, Leslie of DuBois, Sarah A. Caltagarone and her husband, Joseph of Reynoldsville and Randy M. DeLarme and his wife, Julie of Punxsutawney, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank, Bert, Wray and Lane DeLarme and two sisters, Mary Mrsny and Anna Mae Oman.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Ben DeLarme officiating.
