Albert Lloyd Baney Jr., 85, of Clearfield died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 5, 1930, he was the son of Albert Lloyd Sr. and Arietta (Collar) Baney. Mr. Baney was a heavy equipment operator and had worked for Simca Mining for 27 years and Energy Resources for 10 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Clearfield Church of the Nazarene.
On Sept. 21, 1955 in Ansonville, he wed the former Laura Bloom, who survives along with six children, George Andrew Baney and his wife, Margaret, Mary A. Croswell, Michael D. Baney and Timothy Ray Baney and his wife, Susan, all of Clearfield, Patricia E. Bean of North Carolina and Clara M. Friday of Curwensville.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At the request of Mr. Baney, there will be no public visitation or services.
