Phoebe May Snyder, 82, of Bentonville, Ark., died on Veteran’s Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015.
She was born March 20, 1933 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late John Sr. and Anna (Kanouff) Lansberry.
Religion was a large part of her life, as she always prayed for others and would often take children to church. Mrs. Snyder also enjoyed cake decorating and was an accomplished cook.
She is survived by two children, daughter, Rhonda Lee Snyder of Bentonville, Ark., and Seldon Wilsdale Snyder Jr. and his partner, Nicole LeMaster of Rogers, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Asia May Snyder Bell, Shay Snyder, Jennifer Snyder Sawyer, Jacob Snyder, Savannah Snyder Balizar, Shon Snyder, Joshua Snyder, Triston Snyder and Shonna Snyder; two step-grandchildren, Jonathon and Tearea LeMaster; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Lansberry II of Veteran, Wyo., and Glenn Lansberry of Green River, Wyo.; a sister, Marilyn Lansberry Luzier of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Wilsdale Snyder Sr. on Sept. 28, 1981. She was also preceded in death by son, Shon Dee Snyder; a granddaughter, Megan Snyder; and a sister, Ruth Lansberry Rauch.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
