CLEARFIELD – Meghann Gurbal attended the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) in 2013-14 in the cosmetology program.
During her nine months at the CCCTC, she says she learned the skills that prepared her to be able to start immediately on the salon floor upon graduation.
Gurbal was hired by Holiday Hair in Clearfield. During her time at the CCCTC, she participated in many activities, including “So Much More Than Hair,” which raises money to help local causes; the benefit also donates wigs to anyone experiencing alopecia.
Gurbal is only one example of how CCCTC graduates use their education to strengthen the industry in their field of study.
