Home for the Holidays will feature open houses, sales and discounts, daily dining specials, etc. It will also feature horse and carriage rides on Saturday, Breakfast with Santa and a Santa parade, a scavenger hunt, fuel aid concerts, gift basket giveaways, a food bank collection, family activities and local non-profit events. The first-ever Home for the Holidays Wine Walk will be held from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6; it is $10 per person and lets participants taste their way through town and 11 businesses. Friday Night Live
Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre
Comedian Gary Lauver will be featured as the special guest at the next Friday Night Live! event Nov. 6 at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre in downtown Clearfield.
Lauver is a local performer known for his parody songs. He uses “popular tunes and changes the words to tell hilarious stories.”
As always Friday Night Live! is an open mic/variety show. Its organizers encourage performers of all ages and styles to be a part of this unique monthly event held at the CAST.
Filled with comedy and music, organizers are proud to keep Friday Night Live! “family-friendly and PG-13.”

Semi-Annual Craft Show & Yard Sale

A semi-annual craft show and yard sale will feature various food items throughout the day, including homemade vegetable soup that can be purchased by the bowl or the quart. Other food items will include home-baked desserts, hot dogs, chips, and assorted drinks. In addition, there will be a clue for the Home for the Holidays scavenger hunt.

For the Love of Water, Girl Scout Brown Program

Girls can begin their adventure in the Wonders of Water Journey and learn the science of water and its importance to the world. Myths about snakes have earned them bad reputations. Chances are, some of what you think you know is unfounded. Learn how timber rattlesnakes survive in their habitat and how their reputation is often skewed. They are amazing creatures with many special adaptations and the more you understand them (whether you like them or not), the more you may appreciate them. There will be live critters for you to observe and discuss.
Spaghetti Dinner Benefit

A spaghetti dinner will benefit Joy Michaels, who is battling cancer, on Saturday, Nov. 7. It will be held from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Smokehouse in Curwensville. The cost of the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 8 years old.

Fall Festival of Stars
St. Charles Café
The Fall Festival of Stars will feature Scott Allegretto as Elvis, Chris Denem as Neil Diamond/Johnny Cash and Heather Olson as Patsy Cline at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at the St. Charles Café in Clearfield. The cost is $20 per person, and only 150 tickets will be available. All proceeds benefit the Clearfield County League on Social Services.
Rejuvenate CAST Benefit Concert
Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre
On Saturday, Nov. 7, “Twin Reverb” will be rocking at the Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) with a little help from their friends.
Chris and Richie Shaffer, Chase Wise and Zach Wood will be joining the local trio on stage to help raise money for the “Rejuvenate CAST” project. They will be performing classic rock favorites from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and more.
The concert will be starting at 7:30 p.m. with an opening performance by the only Tenacious D tribute band around, “Master Exploder.”
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door the night of the event or at clearfieldarts.org/tickets.
The CAST is located at 112 E. Locust St., in downtown Clearfield.
