So there was something to all that flirting during the reality show “The Voice.”
E! News confirmed that “The Voice” judges Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are indeed dating.
The news came as a shock to at least one of Shelton’s celebrity friends.
“I need to see where Blake has stated that,” singer Luke Bryan told E! on the red carpet at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night. “It can’t be true, because there’s no way Blake could ever score a girl like that.”
Fans were devastated in July when they learned that Shelton had split from his wife of four years, fellow country star Miranda Lambert. The pair had long been the reigning super couple of country music.
Stefani, lead singer of the rock group No Doubt, and Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale announced in August that they were splitting after 13 years of marriage. The pair have three sons.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” they said in a statement.
