CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Area United Way President Mark Schultz recently presented Kathleen Geer of the Crossroads for Domestic Violence with a plaque as a member agency.
“It thanks the Crossroads for being a CAUW affiliate agency. This year they did not apply for specific funding but remained a part of United Way and eligible for other programs, including laptops, office item donations, etc.,” stated Schultz.
Geer spoke at a recent CAUW report luncheon. She informed the group about the Crossroads’ programs and services for which they are currently hiring for counselor positions, a case manager and a community services assistant and interested persons can apply by going to sargents.com.
“The Clearfield Area United Way is at 66 percent in its Community Campaign to help 24 local member agencies, which help people of all ages throughout eastern, southern and central Clearfield County,” stated Schultz.
“The CAWU is asking for those who have not yet contributed to please make a tax deductible gift to CAUW, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. Thank You.”
