Peggy Ann Woodring, 69, of Osceola Mills died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 at her home. Born Sept. 10, 1946 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Gwendolyn (Goss) Doran.
She married Melvin D. Woodring on Sept. 18, 1965 at the Coal Run C&MA Church, Osceola Mills. He survives at home.
Mrs. Woodring was a member of the Coal Run C&MA Church in Osceola Mills. She was a retired nurse’s aide for the former Pine Ridge Manor in Philipsburg. Mrs. Woodring was a 1965 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tammy Woodring-Malinich and her husband, Brian of Osceola Mills and two sons, Daniel M. Woodring and his wife, Julie and Scott T. Woodring and his wife, Colleen, both of Ramey.
She is survived by one sister, Judy M. Bush of RD Philipsburg and three brothers, William H Doran and his wife, Elanor of Willow Spring, NC, Harry L. Doran of RD Philipsburg and the Rev. Ronald L. Doran of Bunola.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Scott Woodring, Joshua Woodring, Aiden Woodring, Caleb Woodring and Kendall Woodring.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Hiram Westover officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
