Kenneth W. Stephenson, 75, of Morrisdale died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born May 11, 1940 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late William and Christine (Lee) Stephenson.
He was a 1958 graduate of Pottsville High School and a manager of Target Sportswear, Hyde until his retirement.
He was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed woodworking, making birdhouses, hunting, shooting and spending time with his family. He was a nice guy who was liked by everyone he met.
On Nov. 23, 1963 in Pottsville, he married Marsha A. (Wascavage) Stephenson, who survives at home.
Also surviving are a son, Ken Stephenson and his wife, Lori of Clearfield; a daughter, Tracey Rakes and her husband, David of Osceola Mills; a sister, Patty Lipsky and her husband, George of Maryland; four grandchildren, Alexis Stephenson, Summer Stephenson, Tyler Furrow and Brittney Furrow; and a great-grandson, Oliver Douglas Furrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Marie; a brother, William; and three sisters Margaret, Sylvia and Gladys.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
