KARTHAUS – At approximately 12:50 p.m. Sunday, two inmates, each serving flat 24-month state intermediate punishment sentences, escaped from the Quehanna Boot Camp, located in Karthaus.
The inmates were allegedly observed getting into a black vehicle. Individuals with information on the whereabouts of these two escapees should contact Pennsylvania State Police immediately.
Individuals are advised not to approach the inmates. The escapees are:
Nicholas Guido, a 30-year-old white male, who has a light complexion and brown hair and eyes. He is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He was sentenced in Allegheny County for burglary with no person present.
Trent Robert Maffei, a 20-year-old white male, who has a light complexion, medium build and brown hair and eyes. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was sentenced in Juniata County for possession with intent to deliver.
Officials have sounded the escape siren and have sent a message via AlertPA to registered individuals. The facility is currently locked down while officials conduct an investigation.
Again, anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals should not approach them but should contact Pennsylvania State Police.
