David L. Neville, 55, of Philipsburg and formerly of Harrisonburg, Va., died Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 11, 1960, in (Manhattan) New York City, NY, a son of the Late Alice (Loof) Neville and Neil Neville of Wall Township, NJ.
He spent most of his life in the Shenandoah Valley, and he had been employed as a machinist for a number of businesses in the Harrisonburg, Va., area. He was also an accomplished musician.
Mr. Neville was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his former spouse, Joneane (Connolly) Neville, of Ojai, Calif.; two sons, James G. Neville and his fiancée, Danielle A. Asquino of Philipsburg and Tanner R. Neville, of Ojai, Calif.; one step-son, Kenan O. Vaught of Ojai, Calif.; one sister, Joanne Neville and her husband, Joe Pacheco of Niwot, Colo.; three half-brothers, Andre, Keith and Barry Mark Caceres, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; his biological father, Barry Caceres of Las Vegas, Nev.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family held a private memorial service for Mr. Neville in Philipsburg.
The funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, Philipsburg.
