Sandra L. Picard, 70, of Frenchville died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born March 10, 1945 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Hilary and Stella (Moore) Picard.
She graduated from the Western PA School for the Deaf in 1965 and was employed at Pennshire Clothing Factory. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frenchville.
She is survived by a sister, Patricia Barger and her husband, Harold of Frenchville; a brother, William Picard and his wife, Darlene of Morrisdale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hilary, Francis and Robert Picard and two sisters, Marjorie Mayhue and Alice Benton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Frenchville, with Father Philip Billotte as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second St., Clearfield, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st St., Clearfield, or to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, P.O. Box 159, Frenchville, PA 16836.
