PSP Seize More Than $18M in Cocaine and $16M in Heroin in the Third Quarter of 2015

HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania State Police have announced troopers seized more than $42 million in heroin, marijuana and other prohibited drugs in the third quarter of 2015.

In the third quarter of 2015, troopers seized more than 416 pounds of cocaine and more than 47 pounds of heroin with a combined approximate street value of $34 million.

In addition, state police seized more than 15 pounds of methamphetamines valued at more than $720,000and more than 1,500 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value more than $4.5 million.

In 2014, the state police seized more than $107 million in prohibited drugs.
